A Family Heritage

Attending Hume Lake as a camper as a young 15 year old, Hume would make a lifelong impact

on Renee and her family that would last generations, not only did she meet her future husband of

51 years here, her parents where so intrigued that they purchase the Garcia Family cabin in 1968.

Henry and Renee have raised their children and now grandchildren with

summers spent at Hume.

Making decisions for the Lord at Wagon Train, Meadow Ranch, and Ponderosa.

Henry and Renee live in their cabin during much of the year, with some of their grandchildren

attending school at Hume, working here and living the Hume lifestyle year round.

Hume is our sanctuary and our Happy place and our hope is that you will love our home and God will bless you here!
